What is Boot Camp?

First… is hard work, but it is also FUN!  Class always starts with a light warm-up and a few stretches.  During boot camp we do a variety of different exercises.  Every time you come to class it will be different.  We also introduce new exercises on a regular basis.  Remember….VARIETY is the spice of life!  Ever get caught up in the same old exercise routine?  Well this class will offer you something different!  Some of the things we do include suspension bands, kettlebells, core exercises, cardio, Tabatas, H.I.I.T. training, calisthenics and so much more. At the end of class we have a cool-down time.   Boot camp offers a head to toe workout with personal attention yet the social interaction that the group class format allows.  The members like to have a good time while working out!

Who should attend class?

All fitness levels are welcome.  The format of class allows everyone to work at their own level and pace.  Each person does what they can do during that interval.

What if I can’t perform a certain exercise?

All exercises can be modified and / or a substitute exercise can be used.  That will help strengthen that group of muscles until they are strong enough to perform the original exercise.

What do I need to bring to class?

Lace up a good pair of running shoes or cross trainers.   It is a good idea to bring a bottle of water as well.
